Our CSR Initiatives
Covid Relief
Piccadilly Agro Industries is dedicated to building and sustaining communities, especially in times of crisis. We were devastated by the crushing impact the COVID-19 pandemic had in India, and took swift action in the city of Ambala and its surrounding areas to minimize the impacts of this disaster. As part of our growing CSR initiative, we organized the following:
1. Safety Kit Distribution
We distributed over 85,000 corona prevention kits, which contained vitamins, masks and sanitizers. Our mask distribution can be estimated at around 4.25 lakhs.
2. Sanitization Activity
We sanitized the entire city of Ambala with a professionally recommended sodium hypo chloride solution that prevents the spread of the disease.
3. Medical Camps
We hosted free medical checkup camps around the city. We also organized blood donation camps at a few different locations. More than 600 people benefited from this drive.
4. Solar Street Light at Village Badmajra
We setup solar street light at village Badmajra. Solar energy is pollution-free and emits no greenhouse gases when used. They do not emit any harmful pollutants, which is beneficial for the environment and human health.
5. Water Cooler to School
We setup water cooler to school for children. With the help of this all the children have to drink fresh and clean water everyday.
Community Initiatives
We recently submitted an affidavit to MoEFCC (Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change) for a community building initiative in nearby district. This amount will be spent on building two village schools, which were adopted by us. We will upgrade the local infrastructure by providing resources for clean drinking water and access to basic technology. The company will also set up a 600 KW solar power in nearby areas.
